A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for an award winning airline - IN THEIR HOLIDAYS DEPARTMENT based at LBA as their Trade Sales manager. It will be mostly field based with either a car or car allowance provided. This is a great opportunity to join this airline at a very exciting and challenging time of growth. The responsibilities of the Sales Manager will include: Planning and implementing strategy to achieve targets and consistently achieve results. Support all corporate marketing and explore opportunities to maximise local awareness. Communicate corporate expectations to the team, by planning and delivering meetings, supporting and communicating corporate changes. In addition this role will work within a budget, implementing effective measures to minimise operational costs and make recommendations to maximise gains. Experience A proven track record of working in a Sales Manager role within the leisure travel industry (selling to the trade). Previous management experience working in leisure travel industry. Self motivated, target and results driven. Experience of implementing sales strategies. Experience of implementing procedures within a changeable environment. Skills/Competencies Strong commercial and analytical skills. Proven ability to work to strict deadlines, under pressure. Excellent competitor awareness across all products. PC skills to include Microsoft applications. Strong ability to effectively communicate at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
