Distribution Centre Manager

A high calibre candidate is sought to focus on the management of all operational aspects of a key DC in the Banbury area supplying multi-temperature products to a wide and continually expanding regional customer base. Reporting to a National Distribution Manager you will plan/optimise depot resources, manage/motivate warehouse and transport teams whilst maximising productivity, service and profitability. You will plan and implement the integration of new business into the operation managing change effectively and efficiently. The achievement of targeted service levels/budget costs/KPIs, team development, performance monitoring and compliance with H&S regulations will be implicit within your responsibilities. Your management experience will have been gained in similar high volume, fast paced, multi-drop/multi-temperature - ideally foodservices - warehousing & distribution operations. Commercially aware you will be highly numerate and analytical with the ability to translate business needs to achieve measured results and consistently high operational standards/performance. An effective communicator, influencer and negotiator at all levels your team building skills will be crucial to create a positive team culture and a commitment to depot objectives in this demanding seven day week operation.
