Our client are a leading contract distribution organisations, noted for their quality and expertise. They now require an experienced and ambitious Warehouse Shift Manager for a large DC located in Kent. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate proven managerial and leadership experience within a modern FMCG warehouse facility. The applicant must be flexible with regards to shift work, and manage the existing operation in line with company policy and procedures. The role will be to assist the Operations Manager in managing the day to day activities in the depot; to operate within agreed budgets demonstrating effective managerial competence. You will be able to lead and motivate people with a clear sense of direction, demonstrate flexibility and influence others to achieve tasks and objectives. You will also give high priority to customer satisfaction. This represents a great opportunity to join an innovative organisation. In return for your hard work and efforts, the client is seeking an ambitious manager with real potential for further development towards senior management.
