Our Client is the leading distributor of non-food related products to the catering, licensed, hospitality and leisure sectors. But that just scratches the surface. Our client is also a fast thinking, fast moving organisation that is redefining supply chain logistics to non- food related products and is looking for a like minded Goods In Manager to add their energy and innovation to theirs.
Reporting into the Warehouse Manager this is an outstanding opportunity to manage the Goods In operation and play a key part in running a smooth, efficient and customer focused operation because thats what our client is running at this site.
The main responsibilities will be to ensure all goods in (including driver returns) are checked accurately and in line with company procedures. To ensure all goods in are sited in the correct location, and labelled if appropriate. To ensure all dated stock is rotated as directed by the procedures. To ensure pick faces are replenished from bulk as required and to assist in stock takes as required.
Finally you will be expected to manage the demands of the Goods In operation dealing with problems that may arise in a professional, effective manner and will develop positive relationships with other departments, whilst ensuring employee communication is regularly monitored.
You will also provide advice and support to working colleagues in an approachable manner along with ensuring employees are aware and adhere to all Company policies. |
