Infrastructure Project Manager - Pharma - 12 months contract

Are you passionate about driving infrastructure projects within the pharmaceutical industry? We are seeking a talented Infrastructure Project Manager with migration experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of critical infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to migrate and modernise our infrastructure systems, optimising efficiency and enhancing security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of infrastructure systems, including Servers, databases, networks, and applications, to modern platforms or cloud environments.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, time-lines, and budgets for infrastructure migration projects.
• Coordinate project resources, including internal teams, vendors, and third-party contractors, to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to assess current infrastructure architecture and identify opportunities for optimisation and consolidation.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and external partners, to communicate project objectives, progress, and potential impacts.
• Ensure that infrastructure migrations meet quality standards, performance requirements, and regulatory compliance guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in project management, specifically in infrastructure migration projects within the pharmaceutical or health care industry is a must.
• Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure migration projects, including experience with cloud migrations (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, including Servers, networks, storage, and vitalisation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Project management certification (eg, PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (eg, FDA regulations, GxP guidelines) is preferred.
