Validation Scientific Associate (Contract)

Location: Basel Country: Switzerland
 

Validation Scientific Associate vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

  • Cooperating with associates on second level validation experiments to validate candidate models using a confusion Matrix
  • Checking the reference materials for inclusion in the models validations adherence to quality standards and second level validation working procedure
  • Documenting method validation processes, including validation protocols, samples material, and updates
  • Reporting functionally and operationally to the Director in Anti-Falsified Medicines CoE in Global Security

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Proven track record in analytical method development and validation, ideally in a research or analytical laboratory setting
  • Expertise in spectroscopy techniques, including data acquisition, preprocessing, and analysis
  • A thorough understanding of spectral data validation, quality control, and data review
  • Well-versed with analytical technology and equipment, including qualification and calibration
  • Degree in chemistry, spectroscopy, or equivalent education with pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken

  • Proactive team player with good communication skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and a solution-oriented way of working
