Laboratory Assistant - Packaging Materials - Chemicals - German (Contract)

Location: Aargau Country: Switzerland
 

Laboratory Assistant vacancy requiring profound Packaging Materials, Chemicals and German language knowledge for our Aargau based client company in the agricultural sector.

Your tasks:

  • Conduct tests on packaging materials and filled goods to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Maintaining a safe and clean laboratory environment, adhering to HSE regulations
  • Assisting in receiving and inspecting raw materials, as well as managing inventory
  • Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate material transfer and logistics
  • Performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment and document check and repair work
  • Managing HSE-compliant storage, testing, and waste management of materials

Your experience/knowledge:

  • Proficient laboratory skills, specifically in a chemical environment
  • Good knowledge of order management, waste management, documentation and ordering, as well as Good Laboratory Practice
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, coupled with basic knowledge of Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances - PFAS
  • Familiarity with transport regulation related to chemicals
  • University degree along with Qualification as a trained Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technician
  • Language skills: English and German - fluent in written and spoken

  • Quick learning ability with a willingness to acquire new expertise
