Due to exciting new projects and growth, I am looking for x2 3rd line support analysts to join a dynamic team based in Manchester. This role would be ideal for a 2nd line support analyst that's ready to take the next step and progress into 3rd line or for a 3rd Line that's looking for an exciting new challenge.

Responsibilities:

1.Escalation point for Service desk to troubleshoot and fix user Infrastructure issues
2.Create and maintain documentation for all systems
3.Update and maintain hardware inventory for desktop/infrastructure hardware
4.Monitoring of Systems and Network
5.Troubleshooting and resolution
6.React to alerts received through core monitoring systems (Splunk/Solarwinds)
7.Administration of Cisco IP Phone systems.
8.WSUS/Patch management and monitoring.
9. LAN/WLAN administration.
10.Mentoring of 1st Line/Desktop support team
11.Backup & Restore Monitoring and management.
12.Create, update and maintain tickets
13.Creation of help guide documentation and resources for users.
14.Plan and carry out new starter IT induction sessions.
15.Regular support visits to remote offices
16.Review and improve operating processes

Technical Skills/experience:
*Windows Server 2008 R2/2012 R2, Windows 7/8
*Active Directory/MS Exchange
*VMWare
*Citrix Xenapp
*Networking knowledge covering LAN/vLAN/WAN technologies
*HP Server Hardware
*HP Desktops and Lenovo Notebooks
*Apple iMac and Macbook
*Caspar device management
*Airwatch MDM
*Cisco Switch technology
*GPO deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
*IP communications and troubleshooting techniques, including DHCP/DNS
*Cisco IPT - CUCM
*Strong understanding of ITIL, with Incident, Service Request, and Problem management in particular

Soft Skills/experience:
*Be ALE to provide passionate customers and service.
*The ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritising and multi-tasking effectively
*Demonstrate expertise in all activities associated with providing end user PC support and problem resolution on complex and difficult PC hardware and software issues
*Strong planning, organising and prioritising abilities.
*Target focused ad proactive.
*Must be able to deal direct with users in a friendly and highly confident manner
*Excellent communication skills, both within and outside of IT
*Self-starting, analytical, results and solutions-driven.
*Demonstrable small project management experience
*Have proficiency in appropriate business language and ability to present ideas effectively.
*Calm and able to focus when in a pressure situation.

Qualifications and experience:
*Degree level (min 2:2) in an IT related discipline
*Microsoft and other industry accreditations in line with the technical skills
*ITIL Foundation level required
