PL/SQL Developer (Contract)

Location: Dublin Country: Ireland Rate: EUR380 - EUR400 per day + Negotiable
 

PL/SQL Developer

Start Date: ASAP - We can accommodate a reasonable notice period, 4-week notice maximum.

Contract Length: 6 - 12 months initial contract + extensions

Location: 2 day per week on-site in Dublin, the rest remote

Hours: 40H/Week

Pay: €380 - €400 per day

I am working with a leading global consultancy that is looking for a PL/SQL Developer for long-term project in the public rector in Dublin.

Ideally, we are looking for someone that would be able to start this project as soon as possible, however, we can accommodate a reasonable notice period.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing Oracle Reports, database procedures (PL/SQL,) and UNIX Shell Scripts.
  • Modifying existing codes to optimise Oracle applications.
  • Setting up database user accounts and permissions.
  • Training Oracle users on how to access the information in the database.
  • Performing complex analyses and reviews of applications being released into production.
  • Providing leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging applications
  • Conducting functional and non-functional testing
  • Participating in project meeting(s) for highly complex project definition, needs assessment and design review.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills as communicating with clients may be necessary.
  • Experience in all aspects of Oracle implementation
  • Good understanding of Hadoop integration with Oracle.
  • Experience of Atlassian suite of products like JIRA, Confluence
