Engineering Project Manager

The purpose of this role is to lead engineering projects for a medical device company that are building a next generation device of a complex, electromechanical medical device. As a Device Engineering Project Manager, your role would be to ensure that all engineering disciplines, including but not limited to; mechanical, systems, software, electronic, V&V, etc, are collaborating effectively to complete sub-projects to meet the companies time and financial deadlines.

This position would see you working for one of the largest medical device companies in Ireland, being part of a talented, international engineering team who share ideas and come up with best-in-class solutions to help improve a life-saving device.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management from start to finish of projects
  • Prioritise tasks effectively whilst ensuring buy in from your team
  • Lead using established project management tools and techniques
  • Stay within time and budget limits
  • Responsible for the successful execution of significant technical projects
  • Create an inclusive and innovative environment for your team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience in medical device is preferred but not required
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry is essential
  • Project management experience in product development
  • Experience pulling user needs and design requirements
