Network Engineer (Contract)
Location: Amsterdam Country: Netherlands
We are now looking for skilled Network Engineer to join our team as an Full time external contractor from anywhere in Europe to work remotely
This position:
- 3+ years of experience with management and support of Layer 2, 3, 4 and 7 network devices (bare metal and virtual).
- Experience in configuration and troubleshooting Load Balancers like Netscaler/F5 Big-IP
- Knowledge in network routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), Firewalls and security products (Cisco and Barracuda), enterprise/carrier-class Routers and Switches (Cisco).
- Setting up virtual private networks (Client-to-Site and Site-to-Site)
- Experience with the migration projects (from one vendor to another one)
- Ability to prioritize and work individually and as part of a team.
- Can work independently with little guidance.
- Strong troubleshooting skills including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations.
- Be able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
