<P><UL><LI>Production Control</LI><LI>Production Schedule</LI><LI>Production Repair</LI></UL><STRONG> Production Controller </STRONG><BR> <BR> Working on the Isle of White a Production Controller is required on a 9 month contract basis to work for a major defence client. <BR> <BR> Hourly Rate: £27.95 PAYE or £36.34 Umbrella<BR> <BR> Overview<BR> <UL> <LI>Achieve the Master Production Schedule and Control Production/Repair Orders in line with the plan through to Completion and to Budget.</LI> <LI>All activities to be undertaken in accordance with the documents identified within the Process Accountabilities section below.</LI> <LI>Maintaining system integrity whilst adopting standard processes and ensuring compliance.</LI> <LI>Keeping the Master Production Schedule in Line with customer requirements.</LI> <LI>Advising Projects and Manufacturing during pre-production phase on MRP, Structure and Scheduling.</LI> </UL> <BR> Core Duties <BR> <UL> <LI>Participate in Contract Launch Process, driven by Projects and only held depending on value</LI> <LI>Achieve the timely release of Production/Repair Orders</LI> <LI>Use the MES to view Production/Repair Orders</LI> <LI>Review and action MRP Error Exceptions Messages and data hygiene reports</LI> <LI>Support Production Reviews</LI> <LI>Support the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process</LI> <LI>Create outbound delivery documentation ensuring compliance through the GTS System or for non Sales Order deliveries manual TRF.</LI> <LI>Understand the interface with the Warehouse Management System</LI> <LI>Interface with other teams/organisations to provide a seamless service</LI> <LI>Provide advice and data to optimise the overall support solution</LI> <LI>Provide a flexible approach to enable support throughout the Logistics function to meet business requirements</LI> <LI> Review and propose Master Production Schedule Changes - This will involve liaison with Key functions within the Business, Projects, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing</LI> </UL> <BR> Skills &amp; Experience <BR> <UL> <LI>Awareness of ISO 9001/EN9100 standards</LI> <LI>Good understanding of own discipline and end to end requirements within Quality Inspection</LI> <LI>Understand how their own role and team fit into overall objectives of the function </LI> <LI>Knowledge of product safety requirements</LI> <LI>Export requirements knowledge (for example International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (where applicable)</LI> <LI>Knowledge of the Programme Inspection and Test Plan and how it is implemented</LI> <LI>NC or HNC qualified in an appropriate technical discipline or equivalent experience: Time served in trade discipline</LI> </UL> <BR> If you would like to be considered for this role please don t hesitate to click apply or call Niall Owens for more information.<P></P>
