Regional Routing Manager, Americas and Europe

Regional Routing Manager required for market leading global Telecommunication business.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develops and manages the routing models to reflect all qualified carriers and their qualified routes. Monitors bilateral deals and ensures that routing is adjusted accordingly. Reviews minimum pricing and makes recommendations on applicable regions. Provides analysis to Sales Managers as requested on destinations. Makes final recommendation and/or decision regarding the routing of traffic. Works with Operations to redirect traffic as appropriate (ie coordinate route changes, deletions and additions). Assists account managers in buying routes for voice traffic. May complete test requests as required in order to find qualified vendors. On a regular basis communicates with staff in Sales, Network and Voice Operations (globally).

Candidate Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative disciplines, business analysis, mathematics or related field. 2-4 years of work experience in Telecommunications Industry - (specific background in routing preferred) Strong communication skills, both verbal and written in English language. Strong interpersonal and team oriented skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel modelling skills and database management skills. Demonstrates initiative with a certain degree of creativity and latitude required. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Wholesale Telecommunications. Critical thinking, good judgment, and the ability to assimilate input from diverse sources and produce clear, concise summaries and recommendations. Ability to multitask in a high profile environment with minimal supervision under demanding timelines.
