SAP RTR consultant

Edward Carter Solutions have an exciting opportunity for a SAP RTR consultant looking for a US based consultant looking for a new permanent opportunity.

As part of a global team responsible for all Enterprise owned applications, your primary area of responsibility will be to provide support, customer updates, documentation, training and ownership of all support issues.

You will be required to work with a wide range of customers, colleagues and consultants at all levels and with a wide range of skills. You will need to have a solid understanding of the business priorities to allow you to schedule tasks/workload according to the demands and requirements of the company ensuring SLA's and deadlines are met.

Successful candidates will have the following responsibilities:
* 1st/2nd line support calls on listed applications to the business units.
* Escalations to Outsourced/3rd party support teams
* Documenting bugs and enhancements - liaising with 3rd party support groups on problem resolutions
* Transactional or business required systems configuration and set up
* Manage and Maintain regional documentation libraries
* Acquisitions and Projects - training, testing, system set up, documentation, support 
* New code/version testing and project handling
* 1st/2nd line support for Ecom issues for external customers working with SME's to resolve
* 2nd line for SME's on internal data or business owned applications or business process issues 
* Ecommerce admin, testing and support

You will be responsible for cross training team members on new projects, back training SME's, go-live and refresher training, new company or functionality training. The role will require good relationships with the Business Analysts as they will use the resource for new projects and initiatives. Being a Global team you will be used as a Global resource, utilising follow the Sun hand over and support practises. Due to the nature of the role additional hours and weekend work will be required.

Suitable candidates will need to have the following essential skills and experience:
* 5+ years of SAP Support experience
* Full project life cycle
* SAP implementation project experience demonstrated as follows:
* Some SAP R/3 configuration experience
* Unit and integration testing of SAP transactions and business processes.
* Experience in writing functional specification.
* Writing unit test scripts
* Testing of customer development in SAP.
* Participated in delivery of training
* Participated in conversion of master data or transactional data
* Good knowledge of Excel
* Communication - Good English verbal and written 
* Excellent documentation skill 
* Ability to perform under pressure
* Knowledge of three or more of the supported systems
* Experience supporting a B2B E-commerce platform
