Description

Key Role:
Perform software development within a distributed development environment with Java and C # programming. Apply experience with Hadoop, Web applications, and Cloud-based technologies and development tools, including Subversion for source control and JIRA for change management. Provide design services to address the Army's challenging technology and data needs. Work as a developer and build out an enterprise SOA application. Assist with technical solutions and use best practices for a development environment, coding, integrated testing, continuous integration, configuration management, and agile development. Work independently or in a team environment to meet deadlines. This position is located on the client site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:-2+ years of experience with Web application systems development-Knowledge of databases, Web services, MVC, and Hadoop-Ability to read XML documents-Ability to create and present briefings to senior leadership-Ability to work with aggressive time lines for deliverables-Ability to articulate previous application development projects that went to production or is ready for production-Secret clearance-BS degree in CS

Additional Qualifications:-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
