Business System Analysts

Business System Analysts Needed in Akron, OH

Actively participate in formal and informal Projects involving assigned business unit(s). Ensure all sys-tem alterations are thoroughly tested by developing, documenting, and executing formal Test Plans. De-sign and create new or enhanced system screens and reports.

Provide system maintenance support for assigned business unit(s); act as primary keying point or valida-tion review point for critical system operating parameters (rates, etc.). As needed, function as contact point for external vendors. As needed, provide basic project management assistance.

Assist technical staff with design specifications and development of technical improvements, and inter-faces.  Assist business units by providing necessary training, and documenting new and altered business processes and procedures.

Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Associate degree in Business/Administration/Management or 5 years experience in banking, financial applications or support of banking systems or equivalent.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Project Management techniques, and systems development/analysis.
• Proficiency with PC Window-based applications (Word Pro, Lotus 1-2-3, Freelance, MSWord, Excel and Access). 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Above average organization and management skills. 
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment

PREFERRED: 
Previous in-depth experience within a major business line of a financial institution
