We're looking for a qualified Network Administrator for a terrific Contract to Hire opportunity. Candidate must be a polished, clear communicator in order to interface directly with the client.
OVERVIEW
- Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external Cisco networks.
- Develops and maintains all Cisco network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
- Recommends upgrades, patches for Cisco equipment.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
- Uses knowledge of Cisco LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of related experience
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in Cisco network switching and routing
- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Works under general supervision
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude required
- CCNA or equivalent experience required
