In this position you will be responsible for Program Management of a multi-business unit development team implementing a multi-OS and multi-platform Test Tool and Test Suites. Project involves jumping in mid-development and taking over program management responsibilities and plans from the existing program manager and driving the project to delivery by EO August.

Daily responsibilities include defining the deliverables for each Sprint release, monitoring progress towards deliverables, removing roadblocks, managing risks, and helping the team to define and stay focused on the top priorities. This position requires attention to detail and follow through on key issues as well as the ability to prioritize and delegate work.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BS in a software engineering field, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • At least 5 years' experience in a Program Management or Project Leadership role
  • At least 10 years' experience within the software engineering field, in roles such as a software developer, architect, QA engineer, PM, or engineering manager
  • Knowledge of and experience with one or more PM methodologies (Agile, waterfall)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Solid negotiation skills desired
  • PMP Certification desired
