Senior Java Developer - Java, Servlets, JSP, Struts, Mentoring Senior Java Developer Based in the heart of exciting New York City, we are a one of the top providers of hosted supplier integration and order management services for multi-channel retailers.
We are currently in an exciting period of balanced growth and stability and are searching for a talented Senior JAVA Engineer not only to act as a main developer for us, but to mentor and coach our current existing Developer team.
Responsibilities would include;
1) Developing software design artifacts for new business requirements.
2) Help test and validate new software modules.
3) Work with Quality Assurance to efficiently solve any issues that are discovered prior to production release.
4) Provide post-production application support, as required.
Requirements;
1) Fantastic communication skills that will allow you to properly coach, mentor and work alongside the rest of our team.
2) Knowledge or experience with the Java Enterprise Edition, and supporting libraries, including Servlets, JSP, Struts, EJB, and JDBC.
3) Experience working with testing frameworks such as JUnit.
4).* Big plus* Knowledge of ORM products such as JDO and Hibernate.
5).*Big plus* Open source frameworks such as Spring, Wicket, JQuery, Grails, etc.
6) Ajax-based Javascript programming and libraries.
