SAIC has a career opportunity for a Mission IT Support - DART Workbench Programmer/Analyst located in Albuquerque, NM. The candidate selected for this position will become a full time employee of SAIC.

Job Description:

SAIC is seeking an experienced programmer to support the Design through Analysis Realization Team (DART) . The DART Workbench is an integration of several earlier tools that performed Scientific Data Management, Model Building, Materials Data Management, and other duties relevant to the analysis process. The Workbench addresses the needs of analysts who are working within the Engineering Sciences Analysis Process. The selected candidate will collaboratively continue developing software that implements the requirements listed in the DART Workbench product backlog and any new requirements as time and funding allow.

The Workbench Team analyzes several needs, including:

- Single point access to DTA tools for meshing (CUBIT) and model assembly (SIMBA) and post processing (EnSight and ParaView).
- Distributed file management tools for accessing remote computing clusters.
- Revision control of analysis input and outputs.
- Job submission tools to automate the submission of simulation runs on remote computing platforms.
- Engineering notes capability for capturing information during any stage of the DTA process (model building, simulation execution, etc). These engineering notes are associated with the analysis artifacts and represent the knowledgebase of simulation based engineering process.

Required:

Knowledge of the Workbench repository process is required. Leverages the capabilities of a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool named eMatrix from MatrixOne Inc. The eMatrix PLM is a core component of the Workbench functionality that provides virtual packaging of distributed engineering artifacts in the context of engineering projects. Workbench resides on top of the project database, performing its job of analysis data management.

Clearance Level:

An active DOE Q clearance will be required.

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years related experience, of which at least seven must be specialized. Advanced degree in related technical field desired.
