SAIC has a career opportunity for a Mission IT Support - Macintosh Infrastructure Support Programmer/Analyst located in Albuquerque, NM. The candidate selected for this position will become a full time employee of SAIC.

Job Description:

The SAIC team is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a background in the Macintosh Infrastructure Support/Programmer/Analyst who will provide process-based IT application support and development for the customers. The candidate will be responsible for:

- Designing, writing, and testing software installers

- Involved in Macintosh Common Operating Environment (COE) development and support

- Involved in deployment of Mac OS Systems

- Involved in defining and supporting the Mac COE

- Maintaining and deploying new Macintosh Servers.

- Tier 3 level support for Macintosh computers

- Provide Desktop Management (DMS) for Macintosh computers

- Test and approve new Apple Macintosh computers

REQUIRED:

- Good troubleshooting skills.

- Interface well with other organizations

- Work well both independently and in a team setting

- Self-motivated

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Willing to work in a structured testing and release environment

- Programming skill/scripting language experience (examples include: AppleScript, Automator, C programming languages, Shell Scripting and Real Studio)

- Experience with Macintosh desktops and Macintosh Servers.

- In depth knowledge of Apple OS X.

- Microsoft Office for Mac

Clearance Level:

An active DOE L clearance or DOD S clearance will be required due to the work required on classified systems. An active DOE L clearance will be required for this position to start and be able to get a DOE Q Clearance.

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience. An additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
