SAIC has a career opportunity for a Mission IT Support - Senior Programmer Analyst Records Center located in Albuquerque, NM. The candidate selected for this position will become a full time employee of SAIC.

Job Description:

The SAIC team is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with a background in the Records Center for a Senior Programmer/Analyst who will provide process-based IT application support and development for the Records Center.

REQUIRED:

Advanced knowledge of records management as it pertains to I.T. solutions is required to facilitate development of next generation applications for the Records Center that includes using software development methodologies, database design and deployment, system architectures and network infrastructure as well as multiple programming languages. Ability to keep up with the latest development technologies using C# and being comfortable with using VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is a must.

Knowledge of Legacy development in Microsoft Access 2000 and Microsoft ASP is essential for understanding systems targeted for replacement and migration to newer technologies. A working knowledge of the IBM FileNet API will be needed. Ability to design easy-to-use applications that are stable, easily maintained, enforce Record Center business rules while integrating with FileNet is paramount. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion on multiple tasks while maintaining quality in an Agile software development framework. Excellent oral and written communications skills are important as well as excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are also required.

Knowledge of and use of Rally is a plus.

Clearance Level:

An active DOE L clearance will be required for this position. An active DOE L clearance or DOD S clearance will be required due to the work required on classified systems.

Qualifications:

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 3+ years experience. An additional 4 years of related expereince may be consdiered in lieu of a degree.
