Position Title: Load/Unload Operator (Warehouse Operator)

Location: Pampa, TX

Key Responsibilities:

The Load/Unload Operator will be primarily responsible for loading/unloading products leaving from or arriving at the Pampa Warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Report to and receive instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor
- Must be able to operate necessary equipment such as pumps, mules, forklifts, loading platforms
- Responsible for making proper lineups from storage tanks to trucks and insuring the correct chemical is loaded
- Responsible for keeping safety areas clear and maintaining good housekeeping
- Load trucks containing drums, PORTA-FEEDS, and other packaged products
- Load/unload bulk trucks and rail cars
- Responsible for the sampling of outbound products which require appropriate paperwork when logged in for approval
- Monitor fluid levels on any equipment which will be driven each day
- Maintain and monitor in-house mixed chemical PORTA-FEEDS
- Participate in physical inventory
- Pick and stage orders for all upcoming jobs
- Perform various SAP sessions pertaining to daily tasks and inventory control

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Must have proficiency with basic Math skills
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in a similar chemical environment is a plus
- Must have a general knowledge of pumps, valves, motor, hand tools, welding equipment, and material handling equipment
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and Windows software required

Physical Requirements:

The incumbent must be able to satisfy the following physical requirements in order to satisfactorily perform the duties of the job:

- A hearing capability sufficient to hear a ringing telephone, hear plant alarms, and hear normal levels of oral conversation from fellow employees and the supervisor
- A visual capability to read printed materials of normal size
- A capability to lift and carry boxes, bags, and sacks of materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis for periods up to 2 hours
- A lung capacity and strength sufficient to wear a full face respirator for periods up to 2 hours
- A condition of general health and well-being sufficient to work in harsh environmental conditions as previously outlined
