Clinical Educator Advanced (Registered Nurse)

Providence is calling a Clinical Educator Advanced (Registered Nurse) to the Operating Room at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK.

The Clinical Educator Advanced is a registered nurse with expertise in nursing education who influences professional role, competence, and professional growth of nurses in a variety of settings. The Clinical Educator Advanced is responsible for hospital and unit based education program planning, development and implementation. This includes, but is not limited to: strategizing educational needs of the staff and the organization, validating required educational needs and competencies for staff; developing training programs, curricula, and processes; utilizes proven evaluation tools for the evaluation of staff and processes; oversight of preceptorship program.

Exercise independent judgment and demonstrates a firm knowledge base and clinical expertise.
Function as a clinical resource.

Teach courses that are required for competency (eg ACLS, PALS, etc).
