IT Manager - Manufacturing/JD Edwards E1

Full-time hire: IT Manager - Manufacturing/JDE-E1. $110 - 125K base + 15% bonus + relocation to Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Our client is a global Mfg company with about a $billion in Sales and chances are, you and/or members of your family have been using their products for decades.

Required:

• 10 - 15 years in IT ... your forte must be in MFG
• 3 to 5 years as an IT Manager (hire/fire/budgets)
• Experience building/supporting IT/JDE systems related to Manufacturing
• Nice to have experience building/supporting JDE modules related to: Distribution, Warehousing, Inventory, and/or Purchasing.
• ERP experience: You must have, strong, functional experience using JD Edwards - E1 (versions 8.10 or later), specifically for Manufacturing Management.
• Experience developing functional modifications to customize different JDE E1 8.10 or later version modules.

Duties:

• The Sr IT Manager is responsible for defining, analysing, designing, implementing and documenting new manufacturing/ERP (JDE - E1) systems.
• Ensures implementation of manufacturing management and plant related projects and user requests on time, within budget and meeting previously agreed to user requirements.
• Works with users to develop/improve manufacturing management and plant related processes and implements systems to improve users productivity at all facilities.
• Develops and validates system implementation plans and requirements.
• Manages staff of managers, business analysts, programmers, and/or consultants on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Organizes, hires, appraises and develops staff to maximize services to users.
• Controls use of manufacturing solutions resources and provides project status reporting.
