Fast-growing company based in Atlanta (Cobb Galleria/Vinings area) is looking for Six(6) talented Sr. Software Engineers to join our Atlanta-based product development team and help to create the next generation of wireless security solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining the architecture, implementation and development environment for the Message Center. Deep knowledge of C#, WCF, RESTful services, SOA, OOD and ASP.NET will be critical to your success in this role, as you will be expected to help propagate .NET Best Practices within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in system design for new features and products.
- Build advanced systems using C#, RESTful and SOAP services.
- Play a key role in a wide variety of projects. Projects include: internal and customer facing ASP.NET applications; WCF SOAP and RESTful service; Back Office Windows services and iPhone, Android and BlackBerry mobile applications.
- Design and implement software applications in C# using applicable coding standards.
- Drive innovation in products and technology throughout the Telguard product line.
- Work with Product Verification Testing daily and review test plans to ensure complete functional coverage and provide technical assistance.
- Work with other functional groups within the company, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure flawless market launches.
Initial Assignments
- While the duties associated with this role are expected to change over time, some of the assignments that may be initially associated with the role are:
- Design, implement and maintain core common classes for .NET subsystems.
- Implement RESTful service to make business processes available for our new customer web application.
- Design, implement and maintain a new administration subsystem for the Message Center
- Evaluate and manage new development tools for .NET software development environment
- Design, implement and maintain an automated build system for the .NET software subsystems.
- Assist in the redesign of several Legacy Message Center applications.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science is required.
- At least 5 years experience in .NET design and implementation is required.
- Experience with multiple source management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in the machine-to-machine (M2M) industry is beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
