Skills:

Data Analyst, SQL development (preferably MS SQL server 2005/2208), Scripting and programming shells in developing SQL Stored procedures (JavaScript, Python, or Perl)

Summary:

This position is part of our client's Management Information Systems Reporting team and works with the business users to provide detailed, technical analysis and reporting capabilities for reconciliation. The Analyst will develop solutions that provide reports matched data or data extracts for Billing Reconciliation, members of the billing department and Senior Managers. The complex nature of the data stored by the company and the many and varied demands of the customer means that reporting and account reconciliation requires a high degree of custom development that is undertaken by the reconciliation. The successful candidate has experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, seeks challenges and enjoys the ability to work in both a team environment as well as individually. Responsibilities:

• The design, development and deployment of business, data extraction and business solutions
• Support end users either by directly answering questions, problems or coordinating technical support from IT
• Review repetitive manual processes undertaken in billing and reconciliation terms and design and implement automated solutions as a replacement
• Ability to work high paced, constantly evolving environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ experience in SQL development, preferably MS SQL server 2005/2208
• 5+ years in designing and developing data analysis applications
• Strong Scripting and programming shells in developing SQL Stored procedures and application processing scripts using a language such as Java, Phython, or Perl
• Strong analytical or problem solving skills
• Roll up your sleeves mentality.
• Strong oral and written communications skills
• Must be able to multi-task in a dynamic and fluid environment
• Detail orientation, strong organizational and people skills
• Desired experience with ETL tools for SQL Server such as SSIS and Pentaho
