Senior Mechanical Engineer for medical device start up Mechanical Engineer III

If you are a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with experience designing manufacturing machinery and getting production lines going while working with a staff, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 10-15 years†experience working within a manufacturing environment, preferably within a pharmaceutical or medical device site.
- Management experience within a start up environment highly preferred
- This is a Class 7/8 clean room environment and your experience with that type of manufacturing will be highly preferred.
- An understanding and willingness to work as long as it takes to get this thing off the ground - being a start- up, this is no 9-5 gig.
- Skills in AutoCad or Solidworks and PLC controls (Allen Bradley, Rockwell, factory talk, RS Logix 500 and 5000)

What you'll be doing:
- You will be working with your staff to design the OEM equipment that will be used in the pilot facility and the final facility.
- Take lessons learned and review designs and revise on the fly to push design improvements forward.
- Be flexible, a team player and a self- starter; be committed to getting this facility flying and at maximum capacity.
