Job Overview;
OSD Finance is looking for a talented finance professional to play an important role within the division's International Search advertising business. The Business Analyst Manager position offers opportunities to deliver high impact, business insights at an important time in the evolution of our International search advertising business & global development initiative. The successful candidate will have a passion for (1) delivering insights that help drive improved business insight and decisions, (2) anticipating financial opportunities and risks, and providing innovative and actionable recommendations, (3) effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities;
Develop business and financial frameworks for business modeling and executive decision support analyses.
Identify, initiate, and collaborate with members from across multiple disciplines (eg PMG, A&O, OSD Finance, and other MSFT divisions) in developing frameworks and providing business analyses for our international search business.
Prepare recommendations and communications tailored for executive levels.
Participate in elements of financial rhythm of the business processes, including long range & annual planning, quarterly forecast, and monthly business reviews.
Develop and maintain management reporting of key performance metrics, and deliver insights that enable the International search business and field teams to make better strategic and operational decisions.
Review financial results and present them to management.
Provide input into and/or implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure that appropriate business controls are established and operating effectively.
Requirements;
5 years of financial experience with financial analysis, deal modeling & analytics, reporting, strategy.
Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management and to influence business partners.
Strong business analytical and communication skills
Detail oriented yet also able to think big picture' and understand the key trends and levers that impact a business.
Ability to handle a high degree of ambiguity, and fast paced change management
Ability to manage multiple projects effectively at the same time and to work effectively under deadline constraints.
