Nurse Practitioner, Subspecialty

Position Description:

The subspecialty nurse practitioner is a registered professional nurse who has graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. The nurse practitioner works in a physician office or clinic in the delivery of subspecialty care to children and adolescents. She/he works in collaboration with a physician and other members of the subspecialty healthcare team. She/he works within the scope of practice as defined by the Ohio State law and established standards of care. She/he will always have a physician available for consultation .

Qualifications Required:

Registered nurse licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. Graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program. Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. Licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of Ohio. Minimum of two years pediatric experience required.
