Job Description: ID HIX Project Manager Position Description

Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible for the performance of a medium to large sized technical and business project.
They will coordinate CGI and partner team members to reach unified project goals for an on-time and on-budget project.
Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project
assignments and activities.
Manages the technical direction of a project through the design,
implementation and testing in accordance with project objectives.
The candidate produces status reports and conducts status meetings and
facilitates issue resolution and risk management sessions.

Required Skillsets:
1) Excellent planning skills using industry planning applications (ie Microsoft Project)
2) PMP certified or demonstrated knowledgeable of industry best practices embodied in PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
3) Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
4) Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
5) Ability to resolve technical issues
6) Ability to manage, coordinate and guide a project team
7) Strong issue resolution and risk management skills
8) Negotiation skills
9) Ability to work well with senior management
10) Understanding of technologies that support SOA and COTS products.
11) Experience in State HHS eligibility systems, Medicaid, Healthcare Reform, and commercial insurance preferred.

Education qualifications:
1) Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field
2) PMI/Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired

Prior work experience:
1) 5+ years of project management experience
2) Demonstrated ability in managing projects similar in scope and complexity to the
