Advertising Sales

If you are an assertive, self-starter who loves to sell, thrives in a fast paced environment, who is passionate about advertising and ready to advance your sales career at the regions number one site. As an Outside Sales Rep you will work to grow revenue from Boston-area small and medium size businesses. You should be fearless in your approach to online advertising, the web, social networking and online community websites. You are responsible for generating direct/indirect sales and for meeting revenue goals and customer satisfaction objectives. This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree Preferred.
- 5+ years as a successful, consultative account executive with proven skills in solutions selling across multi-media platforms
- Demonstrated track record of new business development and understanding of product branding and sales cycle execution.
- Proven experience using creative sales solutions and presentations that address audiences at many levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational skills a must.
- Expected to develop good relationships with peers, managers and support staff.
- Requires excellent presentation skills, and be familiar with Powerpoint and excel.
- Outstanding prospecting, Scripting and lead sourcing skills
- Work effectively in a team environment, exerting positive influence and serving as a team resource
- Outstanding communication, questioning, listening and relationship-building skills
- Strong Internet knowledge
- Comfort and familiarity with CRM systems
