Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Professional Services Technical Specialist (TS)

The ERP Technical Specialist (TS) will be a senior sales contributor who possesses excellent organizational, communication and proven technical selling skills in business applications and solutions within the Professional Services Industry. The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of solution selling experience by use of Solution Strategy, Product Demonstration excellence, and experience presenting value propositions to C-level executives. The successful candidate will have an understanding of ERP transformation, organizational change as well as the ERP value proposition (ROI).

As the primary technical lead in the sales process related to Professional Services business solution sales, the TS is responsible for requirements qualification, solution strategy building, RFI, and delivering product demonstrations with the appropriate value messaging. The primary measure of success for this position is attainment of a Dynamics ERP revenue quota.

The TS will utilize and coordinate Microsoft and/or Partner resources to build out demonstrations and proof phases of the sales cycle to exceed customer expectations. It is key that this candidate be able to demonstrate the Dynamics AX product while delivering key value prop messages that resonate with Professional Services customers and their particular needs. The TS will be expected to not only deliver key functionality in demonstrations, but deliver key business strategy messaging as well. The ideal candidate will know how to incorporate the full Microsoft offerings to meet and exceed customer primary concerns. The TS will be responsible to knowing competitive solutions and help to formulize sales strategies against them. The TS will be expected to represent our Dynamics AX product specifically for Professional Services at trade shows and like events for demand generation and product interest.

In this position the TS will have regular external communication and maintain professional working relationships with:

- Customers who are interested in understanding and adopting a business solution
- Microsoft partners who can assist with sales and/or solution deployments
- Analysts and consultants who can effectively influence customers & key decision makers

The TS will need to be able to successfully work in a Matrix organization, as they work with multiple teams within Microsoft to execute the sales process, as well as rely on multiple partners to provide expertise and resources to execute the sales process and ensure successful deployment of Dynamics ERP solutions.

Professional Services TS Key Responsibilities include:
- Engage with Internal Microsoft organizations and Dynamics SSP per named account to drive Dynamics Professional Services awareness, revenue opportunity & maximize account penetration.
- Manage solution conceptualization, topology, technology oversight - including Dynamics, (AX, CRM, Services, & Platform Components)
- Deep & Effective presentation of solution scalability; benchmarks; recommended topology; integration strategies; platform foundation; extensibility frameworks
- Deep & Effective presentation of solution capabilities and scenarios specifically mapped against customer business processes, metrics, and data
- Build and Drive environments for conference room pilot; proof of concept
- Engage with Microsoft Technology Center to establish Dynamics Professional Services environments for presentation; testing; and customer specific engagements
- Strategically engage MCS and/or GSI to ensure proper architecture and foundation for solution blueprints; best practices addressing solution gaps; proper testing; and validate skill of GSI resources
- Engage with Customer and Partner R&D Teams as appropriate for support and consultation on most strategic; large scale; complex opportunities

Key requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree required - MBA preferred
- 7-10 years of business applications technology, deployment, and development experience with strong Professional Services domain knowledge - Store Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain, ERP, CRM, E-Commerce
- Deep understanding of technology, standards, and development for Professional Services store
- Proven skills in analysis, presentation, demonstration, technology deployment
- Level 400 solution demonstration & development - envisioning; blueprints; architecture (AX, CRM, Services, Platform)
- Ability to respond in depth to technical RFP/RFI
- Strong knowledge of MSFT platform technology - SQL; Visual Studio; SharePoint; BI; Windows and other
- Understanding Key ISV solutions and integration strategies
- Strong skills building technology solutions stand alone; w/partner; through partner
