Businesstaff has been retained by a client in the Greater Denver Area in search of a Regulatory Compliance Specialist. Select candidate will assist in the creation and implementation of organizational policies, standards and procedures to comply with applicable regulations. Maintains open lines of communication with all relevant decision makers and stakeholders to keep all parties informed of regulatory changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement repeatable processes that ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and pending ISO certification. 
  • Work with IT to build in systematic controls in order to prevent compliance violations, but not decrease productivity.
  • Develop and deliver training to educate Company personnel about regulatory requirements of the business.
  • Ensure compliance with the Import/Export of parts and products (ITAR, NAFTA and Dept of Commerce requirements), becoming a Company empowered official.
  • Ensure proper documentation and/or certificates are obtained in order to ship products as appropriate (Certificates of Origin, End User Certificates, State and Commerce Department Licenses, etc.).
  • Lead the effort to ensure all existing and new products have the appropriate ECCN and Schedule B numbers. 
  • Lead the qualifications of products through the registration process such as FCC, UL, ETSI and other product level qualification processes domestic and international.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of eight years demonstrated regulatory leadership.
  • Demonstrated process leadership within a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of radio frequency equipment a plus.
  • Wireless industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelors in Engineering desired.
  • Computer skills required including Windows Office tools.
