The Operations Manager will primarily support the Assistant General Manager with the management of the hotel operations; including Front Office, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage. Primary responsibilities include; but are not limited to:
Implementing and monitoring company programs.
Managing the operations of the departments to ensure compliance with standard operationg procedures.
Resolving customer complaints and anticipating potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, operational issues, business flow and associate performance to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality.
Managing the Human Resources in the department in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees; hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication.
Perform the Manger on Duty functions as assigned.
This position requires a flexible schedule that would include working Tuesday-Saturday 2 pm-12 am and holidays.
Qualifications include:
1-2 years of hotel supervisory or management experience within the Rooms and/or Food and Beverage departments.
College degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this management position will vary.
Strong organizational, project management and detail orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in order to meet a variety of deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
Located just outside of Boston, this hotel is located with ease of access to the major highways - I-93, 128 and Rt. 3. Close to Logan Express - the area's shuttle service to Logan Airport.
The Hyatt Place Braintree is a six (6) story building with 204 brand new guest rooms
The new hotel represents a ground to ceiling renovation of the former Sheraton Braintree
Five (5) meeting rooms with approximately 500 square feet each
It is conveniently located across the street the South Shore Plaza (commonly known as “The Braintree Mall”) offering over 300 shops and restaurants
Located across the street from Legal Seafood and Cheesecake Factory, hotel will provide many dining options for guests and meeting planners
