Description:
Basic Functions:
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of production processes, safety procedures, and proper equipment use in accordance to Oakley guidelines.
Lead the team to follow production processes, safety procedures, and proper equipment use in accordance to Oakley guidelines.
Communicate to your Supervisor feedback, issues, and other needs in order to follow production processes, safety procedures, and equipment in accordance to Oakley guidelines.
Assess scrap and adjust processes, equipment, and/or administer training to address the root cause of the defect.
Determine most appropriate method of production, with respect to the production schedule, safety, and efficiency.
Conduct and make announcements to team members during and/or resulting from daily DDS meeting.
Provide leadership necessary for effective shift handoffs between teams.
Maintain assembly line throughout the day to maintain efficient workflow.
Perform and demonstrate thorough knowledge of Production Orders process using SAP.
Train accountability for Production Orders, lenses, and other Kit materials among your team.
Manage Production Order and product handling among your team to ensure scrap, setup, RTS, and other fallout is accurate in SAP.
Perform audits among team members to verify quality and procedure protocols.
Train the team discipline to account for inventory at their function of the manufacturing process.
Able to work on weekends and/or overtime when needed.
Be the liaison between the Production Team and Production Supervisor - communicating requests, injuries, feedback, ideas for improvement, and unusual occurrences.
Delegate workload where see fit among team.
Execute production plan and schedule.
Maintain line or cell productivity to meet production goal (MPU).
Oversee and communicate attendance, vacation, sick, etc patterns to Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills
Well organized, detail oriented, self starter.
PC literate with strong working knowledge of MS Excel.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
Opportunistic mentality to suggest improvements for future growth.
Able to organize and manage with minimal supervision.
Bilingual/Spanish
1-2 years manufacturing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast and continually changing environment.
Basic math skills.
