Description:
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and test equipment.
- Engineer solutions to improve quality of product and increase up time.
- Research new equipment; develop PM plans and spares inventory.
- Initiate, coordinate and execute projects.
- Care and maintenance of production equipment.
- Alterations of equipment to meet manufacturing needs.
- Project management, equipment installation, development of documentation, and maintenance programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- A.A. or equivalent experience.
- Team Player; able to interface with contractors and other Oakley departments.
- High degree of electro-mechanical skill required.
- Familiar with fluid power and pneumatics.
- Must be qualified electrically to 480 VAC.
- Understanding of maintenance techniques.
- Motivated, self-starter, analytical skills, interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good understanding of computers.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
Plus Factors:
- Fabrication skills, vacuum coating experience, welding, and machining.
- SAP experience.
