Service Technician

Yoh has a (12) months contract opportunity for a Service Technician to join our client in Carlsbad, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot computers and digital radiography (DR) related products.
- Prefer Medical devices industry experience
- Interpret and apply information from technical manuals; communicate on technical issues with individuals with varying degrees of computer familiarity.
- Test and repair all service related products.
- Offer solutions and advice on field problems for service staff and peers.
- Assist, troubleshoot and repair sales department and tradeshow equipment.
- Develop and follow procedures as required for manufacturing processes.
- Build and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge in system configuration for network communication.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of manufactured product (Production logs & ERP).

Job Qualification:
- High school diploma required. (AA/As in electronics or two to five (2-5) years experience in manufacturing environment.)
- Minimum two (2) years experience or equivalent experience.
- Prefer Medical devices industry experience
- Strong teamwork capabilities including the ability to effectively work with leadership, peers and other internal and external individuals through projects, making sure project deadlines are met and projects enhance the goals and strategic direction of the company.
- Ability to effectively work with executive leaders, team leads, and peers through projects, making sure project deadlines are met.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must work well independently and work in a Matrix based organization with minimal direction.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects and be able to adapt to changes in priority.
- Experience with installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software for IBM compatible personal computers.
- Must be familiar with manufacturing pressures and work environments and must be able to communicate effectively, work cross-functionally and assist other as required.
- Have experience with inputting, accessing and analysing data using a personal computer.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 75lbs.
