Our Industries & Marketing organization supports and expands awareness of the firm's brand by promoting KPMG's capabilities and service offerings through multiple market channels. We are currently seeking a Sr. Associate, Marketing to join us in our Charlotte location.
Responsibilities:
- Actively manage and implement account penetration strategy across industries and specific companies to build the new business pipeline in the market
- Lead, organize, and/or support opportunity management and proposal conversion efforts for large, complex, or key prospects
- Organize and lead efforts for leveraging large national marketing strategies and events to increase brand awareness in the market and local business development
- Define and communicate marketing event strategies in the region including preparation, planning, and execution of client-facing events in the market; collaborate with local business partners to communicate marketing strategies and help ensure alignment with national marketing efforts
- Share best practices and/or successes in the market with local account management teams and communicate relevant detail upward to the national director; establish long-term relationships with local business leaders to drive cross-functional integration within existing accounts and prospects
- Develop and manage on-going client relationships for large, complex, and/or critical Master Priority Partnership (MPP) accounts
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three to five years of business development and client relationship management experience in the client service industry; eight years of experience is preferred-experience working with client and prospect management tools and software
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field from an accredited college/university; Master's degree in Business Administration is preferred;
- Analytical Skills: Interpreting and Using Information, Problem Solving, Making Decisions, Using Sound Judgment, Dealing with Complexity, Strategic Thinking, Researching)
- Advanced knowledge of marketing strategy including the development and implementation of strategies behind marketing products and services; ability to conduct market research analyses, including interpretation of statistical analysis, to inform marketing decisions
- Ability to design and deploy marketing communications and collateral; ability to apply marketing processes and systems theory and market segmentation concepts
- Knowledge and application of distribution and pricing principles as it relates to organizational products and services; ability to acquire and leverage competitive intelligence, including pricing, service offerings, key talent and client
