Desktop Support Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Desktop Support Technician to join our client in the Cherry Hill, NJ area.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assisting senior ITS personnel with ensuring that all hardware platforms, operating systems, utilities, and related tools and devices are available for successful management of production schedules and service levels.
- Assists with analysing and evaluating system malfunctions and takes appropriate action to correct systems as directed.
- Escalates malfunctions to level II or level III support when necessary, documents problems and resolutions. Maintain asset inventory.
- Assists with installing hardware and software and training individuals on new software desk side.

Job Qualifications:

- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Demonstrates analytical, problem-solving, planning, and risk management skills.
- Windows 7 troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Through knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of wide and local area networks, and associated hardware.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- HDI Certification is a plus.
- Avaya VoIP phone experience is preferred.
- Experience working in a desktop support role with four to seven (4-7) years experience is preferred.
