These amazing devices provide a brilliant platform for productivity, collaboration and interactive applications. And best of all, our market is almost entirely untapped! Customers love the devices and envision a new world of work that reinvents traditional offices and other business settings. Our Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft team is responsible for making wins real.
We seek proven sales technologists with entrepreneurial talents to join our newly formed Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft sales team. You will sell to and advise large-scale business customers.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Motivate customers to change business habits and adopt multi-touch devices and solutions - either new opportunities or to replace paper, projectors, niche products or one-off digital signage
Define cross-sell solutions, linking very large displays (55 and 82 ) to Microsoft software (Office, SharePoint, Lync, etc.), custom Windows and cloud applications, and products in development
Develop channel partners to jointly drive Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft opportunities through new services, applications or installation types - be accountable to partner activity
Deliver broad technology guidance, creatively proposing Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft integrated with collaboration, ideation, data, visualization, conferencing or workflow scenarios.
Drive customer wins in specific targeted scenarios ( Lighthouse Wins ), through proofs of concept, technical engagements and innovative business selling
Create demos, guides and semi-custom Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft scenarios that can be delivered independently by the Microsoft sales force and account teams
Support unit sales goals within a specified territory of managed enterprise accounts
Build relationships with relevant customer personnel such as infrastructure, productivity, collaboration, facilities and other relevant teams and managers
Key attributes for candidates:
Strong sales aptitude with the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of technology products
Executive presence, able to develop sponsorship with senior decision makers, exposing business pains and motivations
Deep technical skills to translate the value of our offerings into customer solutions, blocking competitors and to uncover upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Readiness to draw from the huge span of Microsoft products, services and teams in interest of innovative new solutions based on Perceptive Pixel by Microsoft
Confidence with channel partner needs and motivations to work effectively with Microsoft
Resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner teams where and when needed to do what's right for the customer and for the organization
Effectiveness within a virtual team, both accepting and providing guidance in cooperation with other opportunity owners
Ability to work around problems that are inevitable in new businesses - positive approach to problem solving and working in partnership with Business Groups and sales leadership to document and present issues so they can be escalated effectively
Technical requirements:
Subject Matter Expertise (200-300 level)
Knowledge of device hardware, especially multi-touch displays and mobile devices
Experience with collaboration, conferencing and video scenarios
Productivity expertise, especially collaboration role of Office, SharePoint, Outlook and Lync
Awareness of application development, particularly Microsoft platforms, but including other platforms, SDKs or APIs
Technology Credibility
Passion for hardware/software usability, design and driving user delight
Ability to articulate R&D advances in terms of business value and adoption implications
Up to the minute awareness of business and consumer technology trends, from personal devices and services to broad IT issues such as mobility, cloud and consumerization
No fear approach to learning by doing, confident to prove technical value without a template
