Equipment Logistics Tech

Equipment Logistic Technician: Coordinates equipment distribution functions for an assigned clinical department. Alliance Healthcare Solutions is the premier staffing service for Allied and Nursing Professionals in Northeast Ohio. We are currenting in search of technicians who have hospital and/or healthcare facility experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Coordinates the distribution of new and existing equipment, and may also coordinate the acquisition, installation, maintenance and repair of designated capital equipment.
Coordinates routine facility maintenance and may ensure the proper storage and organization of equipment.
May perform and document basic equipment checks.
Coordinates and facilitates requests with Clinical and Facilties Engineering and Construction Management.
Assists in planning, implementing, and transition process for the construction and renovation of areas within Surgical Services.

Requirements:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
One year experience in a healthcare facility in construction management, purchasing, materials, or closely related field with responsibility for the daily maintenance of hospital equipment.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions and general knowledge of basic mechanics required to be able to repair, maintain and install various types of equipment.
