We are a technology solutions provider to the Ski and Attractions industry. We provide industry-leading enterprise software to ski resorts, parks, and attractions. Our fully integrated software solutions include: ticket and pass sales, RFID access control, food and beverage, inventory retail and rental solutions, activity management, snow sport school and business performance management. Our flagship enterprise software management suite also provides some Back End solutions for purchase order and accounts receivable management. This is an n-tier application built using the .NET Framework in C#. It is a highly scalable solution leveraging SQL Server technology for data access and reporting (Microsoft Reporting Services) serving many of today†s leading resort and recreation management companies.
We are looking for a Senior Application Architect to lead the evolution of our flagship enterprise software product suite. This position will provide broad technical expertise in designing and developing software applications. This position will provide application architecture direction; set architecture and coding standards and review solutions against standards and ensuring best practice Object Oriented design is utilized. This is an exciting technical leadership role where coding expertise is needed and is a great opportunity to define standards, patterns and practices for the rest of the team to follow leading to a next generation of the application suite in a service oriented architecture with a SaaS delivery model. This position reports to the Manager of Software Development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for overall product architecture of the product suite
- Own architecture and coding standards for software development projects and ensure broad understanding and compliance across the team implementing those standards.
- Prototype solutions and take on development projects as appropriate.
- Product Owner for DevOps team - defining and managing priorities with product and technology leadership to evolve the way our software is architected, built and delivered to customers.
- Ability to architect complex, multi-tiered distributed software systems.
- Stay up to date on latest technology trends.
- Travel may be required for this position.

DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous development experience in a software company leading the architecture and delivering commercial software products to market.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering product development projects to specification, on time.
- Strong understanding of the full architectural stack †from SAN to JavaScript.
- Experienced in structured Agile Scrum product development practices, able to develop and enforce discipline in process.
- 8+ years of deep technical experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.
- 3+ years†experience with the following technologies:
-ASP.NET WebForms
-ASP.NET MVC
-ASP.NET Web API
-WCF
-WinForms & Win32
-Testing frameworks (Coded UI, QUnit and/or NUnit)

- Other technologies:
Node.js
Bootstrap
RequireJS
jQuery
Knockout.js
WPF using an MVVM framework
Installshield
Nuget
Jetbrains Teamcity or Jenkins
- Energetic, positive attitude combined with a drive to get things done
- Passion to grow in advance and a self-driven personality is a must.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Experience producing technical design documentation.
- Must have college degree in computer science or equivalent.
