A software development company that provides Internet and E-commerce solutions for the leisure/Travel Industry is in need of a Sr. .NET Developer for its office in Avon, CO. This position will be responsible for API development on a .NET/C# web api, JSON, RESTful web services stack.
What you need for this position:
- 5+ years experience with C#, XML and SQL programming and development, full product lifecycle development, and support methodologies.
- Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture for a software products company.
- 5+ years experience with Visual Studio 2008 and C# .NET both ASP.NET and winforms.
- Experience with RESTful Web Services and JSON
- API Development
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Development experience in a software company.
- Desire to contribute to making great new products and services as well as extending our existing offerings.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
What you'll be doing:
This position will have responsibility for designing and developing different components of functionality and working across multiple teams, including: .NET development, quality assurance, technical documentation, project management/business analysis, as well as with other organizations outside the developmentteam to implement cutting-edge solutions. This position will have a focus on user interface design, therefore significant experience in that area is desired.
- Define and document the design of functionality through use cases, business process flows, UI design and UML modeling.
- Work with SQL Architects to define and develop high performance, scalable data models and stored procedure components in a SQL Server architecture.
- Work with other internal resources to develop functionality following existing style and coding standards.
- Develop both C# .NET user interface (winforms and ASP.NET webform), component tier and SQL Server stored procedure components.
- Interact with customers and prospects to review designs, demo prototypes and address issues.
