Salary Range: 55,000 - 70,000 plus weekly bonus at a minimum of 19% of your yearly salary, paid from day one, which puts your total salary plus bonus at 90k+

What you need for this position:
-BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related IT discipline,
-At least 5 years programming experience with MS-SQL database centric applications in T-SQL, VB/VB.NET, C# or C/C++ in a manufacturing environment.
-Ready to perform development work on new or existing projects using a variety of programming and markup languages and other tools, in Industrial environment and data acquisition from AB or Mitsubishi PLCs.
-This position is responsible for software control and data acquisition in the production areas of the plant.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
-Self-motivated, energetic individual with a can-do attitude
-Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to complete projects
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for customizing, designing and programming automation and controls systems involving HMI (human machine interface system applications using Visual Basic programming, Microsoft SQL (RDBMS) Programming on plant floor.
-Utilize various VB tools using Visual Studio and/or Visual Interdev on .NET platform for designing SCADA (Software Control and Data Acquisition) systems for data flow to and from PLC controlled machines in manufacturing area.
-Identify, recommend, evaluate, and implement new opportunities, process improvements or system integration on plant floor automation and HMI control systems that will enhance existing systems or provide needed end user functionality.
-Follow all standards and guidelines to achieve overall quality and efficiency within assigned unit projects or tasks.
-A passion for learning new technologies and finding better solutions.
