About the Opportunity
Focused on Alliance Data Retail Services loyalty and rewards platform marketing capabilities. The Capability Specialist will contribute to and support the strategy, planning, development, enhancements of the loyalty bonus engine, specifically acting as capability SME (subject matter expert) for internal capability partners.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include: Maintain deep understanding of the bonus capability functionality in order to provide consultation and thought leadership both internally and externally. Provide input to capability roadmap and create capability documentation. Primary liaison to Epsilon BSA team to ensure capability readiness and implementation as needed for Account Center, POS.

Supervision received: Reports to Sr. Manager, Capability Development Loyalty Solutions

Examples of duties: (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all that maybe found in this job.)

* Serves as bonus capability subject matter expert and is recognized as such in the organization. Serves as consultant on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
* Key liaison for Client Sales, Sales Support team and the Marketing Loyalty Solutions team for capability questions and support.
* Active driver in business integration/readiness/planning for new bonus functionality releases.
* Contributes and maintains bonus roadmaps, project and prioritization list(s).
* Works closely with Loyalty Solutions Marketing team and Call Center to determine capability functionality, priorities and future-state enhancements.
* Supports other Capability teams in Client conversations regarding the values or data elements to/from the loyalty solutions platform. Ability to communicate technical concepts by adjusting talk track to the current audience.
* Actively documents processes to keep communication current on new bonus campaign strategies and Call Center content.
* Provides input to testing requirements for functionality enhancements.
* Key participant in Quarterly Business Reviews with vendor partners.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or commensurate experience

Experience:

* 1-3 years of Product Marketing experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading individuals on projects with diverse skills in cross-functional areas toward delivery of a common goal.
* Relevant experience may include some of the following:
* Has performed BSA tasks within the SDLC process
* Has maintained project/account documentation
* Has worked with technical staff to design and implement technical solutions
* Has experience in systems development
* Has participated in integration of new development into an existing technical solution

Desirable:

* 1-2 years of existing Alliance Data marketing and/or capability knowledge.
* 1-2 years of experience working with Orion Bonus Engine.
* 1-2 years of working with Polaris
