Responsibilities
Senior Managers fill the role of Project Team Member or Project Manager.
- Successfully managing multiple and/or complex consulting projects at one or more clients
- Focus on developing deep skills in one or more of the three following areas: management of consulting projects and people, business development (structures/finalizes project and proposal with team) and subject matter knowledge in a specialized area
- Ability to perform project staffing, invoicing, budgeting, profitability analysis processes as well as contact and opportunity/funnel management
- Developing partnership relationships with senior level client personnel
- Preparing and coordinating development of quality deliverables
The Principal Account Management role, in addition to the above, is highly visible and focuses on expanding and selling work.
- Managing growth through existing account work and develop newly sourced work
- Coaching account/team members on best practices in generating leads, tracking opportunities and leveraging BDM services
- Managing account timeline, budget and other critical administration responsibilities
- Developing professional network through association memberships, speaking and writing engagements and community activities
Qualifications
Sr. Managers:
- 10+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting experience
- Proposal development experience including the ability to effectively sell business solutions to clients
Principal Account Management:
- 12+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting experience, current or tracking towards, Partner, Managing, Director, and Senior Executive level
- Experience in expanding business opportunities within existing accounts and cultivating new business opportunities
Both positions:
- Successful track record in running projects and managing teams
- Delivery experience driving business requirements, identifying gaps and omissions, and designing solutions
- Proposal development experience including the ability to effectively sell business solutions to clients
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
Preferred Skills
- Master's degree and/or professional certifications are advantageous
- Candidates will have experience in helping our Telecommunications client organizations design and implement process improvement, reporting and technology solutions across the enterprise
- Cable Industry experience including product management and development within Video, High Speed, Voice or Wireless OR understanding of core Cable business applications/technologies OR experience with IT/business process optimization within a cable company
- Demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement experience; including a role in managing and interfacing with senior level client executives
- Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large
- Creative thinking and seeking innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems
