Providing HR support to the selected client groups with minimal supervsion. This support would include complex/sensitive employee relations, job definition/organizational restructuring, compensation planning and administration, performance management, change management, and decision support on the human capital dimension of the business. Partner with clients to build capabilities and achieve business results.
Qualifications and Work Experience Required
- 8+ years of HR experience, including significant time spent supporting multiple/large business groups in an HR generalist capacity.

- Significant demonstrated experience in organization design/restructuring, change management, and compensation planning and administration.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations/performance management matters.

- Demonstrated business and analytical ability and savvy, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence different groups.

- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills; demonstrated ability to identify/satisfy training opportunities and facilitate a group.

- Demonstrated success partnering with, influencing and supporting senior management.

- Demonstrated results orientation.

- Prefer experience in union avoidance.

- Demonstrated experience managing/administering sales incentive plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Develop a strong partnership with business groups, ensuring all HR resources are effectively provided to each group.

- Lead initiatives that help these business groups build outstanding capabilities in staffing, employee engagement, reward and recognition, and organization/talent development.

- Through this close partnership with both management and employees, measure and analyze current HR practices, research relevant best practices, identify methods to improve current practices, secure require resources/approvals to implement, and then implement appropriate solutions.

- Provide employees/managers with information and advice regarding complex employment practices, corporate and divisional policies & procedures, benefit programs, time & attendance rules, and other HR-driven processes. Evaluate business groups' adherence to such requirements and provide guidance/feedback. Recommend/implement changes to practices/requirements, as appropriate.

- Lead the business groups' succession planning and talent management processes.

- Drive effective administration of the business groups' performance management process.

- Conduct new employee on-boarding, conduct exit interviews, and lead all complex employee litigation/dispute resolution for their business groups.

- Partner with the Human Resources Centers of Excellence and Shared Services teams to deliver seamless, effective HR service to clients.

- Partner with clients to building leadership capabilities within each business group and ensure achievement of business results.

- Ensure required post-employment and termination documentation is generated, approved, and delivered to HR Shared Services, Payroll and Sales Operations.

Education and Special Training Required Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field of study; MS/MBA preferred Qualifications/Work Experience: Percent Travel Required: 5-30%
