Detailed Description: Manages professional and paraprofessional staff engaged in performing human resources activities in employee insurance benefits and wellness program. Provides expert technical guidance to staff on best practices related to insurance and establishes goals and objectives and performance measures to document productivity and performance. Analyzes and creates processes and procedures which includes conducting research and statistical analyses, problem resolution, developing new programs, writing new procedures and collecting statistical data to document effectiveness.

Job Description: Education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in insurance, business administration, human resources, law or related field. Five (5) years of professional work related experience and two (professional work related experience and two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position in insurance and benefits. Highly skilled in software programs and familiar with current trends and developments in the human resources area. Excellent skills in time management and leadership, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, county officials and the public. Ability to analyze data and interpret policies, laws and statutes. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
