The Pharmacy Tech Certified will assist in performing paraprofessional tasks that will ensure a high quality of pharmacy services. This will be accomplished in part by supporting the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
Education
High school Diploma or Equivalent required
Completion of a Pharmacy Tech program preferred
Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)
C.PH.T required
IV certification preferred
Related Work Experience and Other Skills
Basic computer keyboard skills preferred
Coordination of mental and manual dexterity for sustained periods of time are necessary components of the job
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to concentrate mental and visual attention closely to work
Work Experience: 1 year of Pharmacy experience required
Work Experience: Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred
Works with confidential patient information
